It was a tough night for international hip-hop star Drake. Though the native Canadian hosted the 40th Annual JUNO Awards (Canada's version of the Grammys) on March 27, he didn't take home a single award for the six categories he was nominated in, including "Single of the Year" and "Artist of the Year."
The artist, who burst onto the scene last year with his album Thank Me Later, seemed so upset after the Toronto ceremony that he skipped going backstage after the awards, and declined to give interviews to eager press who awaited his arrival. ?He didn?t stick around after the show, even though he was a host, because he didn't win a single award,? one source tells In Touch.
Drake shouldn't feel so bad ? the competition was fierce. ?Single of the Year? went to Canadian superstar K?naan and ?Artist of the Year? was awarded to legendary rocker Neil Young.
